REC PHILLY WELCOMES UArts

University of the Arts students, class of 2024 graduates, faculty and staff members qualify for FREE 3-month memberships to REC.

The historic University of the Arts has announced that it will officially close. We understand this news comes as a shock to many but specifically the UArts students, alumni, faculty and staff.

University of the Arts has been a resource hub for creativity, artists and thought leaders in Philadelphia for over 150 years. In a city with limited infrastructure, we know spaces like University of the Arts is critical for the creative community in our city to continue to grow and thrive. We felt inclined to take action  realizing that hundreds of artists will be out of a creative place to call home.

We will be opening up our doors to all University of the Arts students, class of 2024 graduates, faculty and staff members for free 3-month memberships to REC. We welcome all those impacted by the UArts closure to use us as a resource and a bridge during this difficult time. #SaveTheArts
